This privacy policy explains how Nayan Samuel – Sheet Music (operated by Nayan Lösch, c/o JL Consulting Group GmbH #1670, Zürcherstrasse 84, 8852 Altendorf, Switzerland) collects and uses your personal data when you visit nayansamuel.com or buy from us. We are the controller of your personal data.

What data we collect

Contact details: name, email address and billing address.
Order details: the sheet music you buy, prices, payment method and payment confirmation. We never see your full card number.
Communication: the content of messages you send us, for example support requests.
Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device type and how you use the website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we use your data

To process your order and deliver your downloads, including sending the download link and order emails.
To provide support and answer your messages.
To keep the shop secure and prevent fraud.
For marketing, such as our newsletter, only if you have signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in each email.
To comply with legal obligations, for example accounting and tax rules.

Legal bases (EEA and UK)

We process your data to perform our contract with you (your order), based on our legitimate interests (running and protecting the shop, improving our website), based on your consent (newsletter and non-essential cookies), and to meet legal obligations.

Service providers we use

Shopify hosts our shop and processes orders and payments. Data may be processed in Canada, the USA and the EU. See Shopify's privacy policy.
Sky Pilot (Shop Circle) delivers your downloads and processes your name, email address and order details for that purpose.
Payment providers process your payment details to complete your purchase.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside Switzerland and the EEA, in particular in Canada and the USA. Where those countries do not offer an adequate level of data protection, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the shop to work, such as the cart and checkout. Analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you agree to them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time.

How long we keep your data

We keep order data for as long as required by law, usually 10 years for accounting records. Other data is deleted when it is no longer needed for the purposes above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to receive a copy of it, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time.
